Weird wasnt the word I was looking for, but it was the first word that came in mind.

Alright I just finished Choke a little before 12 today... what is there to say! There were alot of shockers, yet a found out a spoiler before hand which kinda killed it for me. But I did love alot of the quotes I read in the book, hell I even wrote them down. As soon as im done reading all of chuck's books, I'll post my favorite quotes. I thought the book would go deeper into the title, I would of loved to read about more restuarants, but hey a few is enough I guess. Overall this book was pretty good, not as deep as fight club, but hey not every book can be a "fight club" (the joy luck fight club?) Overall I give choke a C+.

Ok so yesterday I was at the halfway point on the book, and today during class I decided to finish it off. I started reading this book on sunday afternoon after church, and finished today, kinda fast I guess considering I take my time reading books. Also, just last week I finished reading Fight Club, took me about 6 days, reading only 10 pages a day and then just reading the rest on friday night after a dodger game. So hopefully today before I head off to church I can go buy Survivor.

In the movie fight club, the ending was differnt from the book....and a few things were left out, yea yea I bought the movie saturday cause I wanted to see how close the movie and book tie in.

Choke is my favorite. I had to read it a few times.

I like the ending in the Fight Club movie better than in the book, actually. Of course, it's total hollywood the way they ended it, but I don't know... just flowed better. I'll probably get flamed for that.

Oh well.

I agree on the movie vs. book ending thing. Didn't Chuck say at some point he prefered the movie as well?

He did, actually. But I think part of that is the whole "nothing I do is good enough" mentality that most writers/artists go through.

First off. I love that you are talking about Chuck Palahniuk and listening to Mariah Carey. Sigh. That is very ironic. Not wrong, but ironic. After all right now I am listening to Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor coat.

I think the Fight Club movie is one of the best transfers from book to movie I've seen.
